Digital transformation and AI: Utilizing mobile technology to collect patient-reported outcomes
Interactive international case study session: In this session delegates will be guided through a real-life international case study example focusing on maternity services in Kenya. Delegates will explore the practicalities of measuring outcomes in obstetric care, navigating how to improve access to and experience of care by pregnant women.
Limited data exist on health outcomes during pregnancy and childbirth in low- and middle-income countries. This is a pilot of an innovative data collection tool using mobile technology to collect patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) selected from the International Consortium of Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) Pregnancy and Childbirth Standard Set in Nairobi, Kenya.
Across the OECD, nearly 19 million people are living with dementia. Millions of family members and friends provide care and support to loved ones with dementia throughout their lives. Globally, dementia costs over USD 1 trillion per year and represents one of the leading causes of disability for elderly adults. This report presents the most up-to-date and comprehensive cross-country assessment of the state of dementia care in OECD countries.
